Hello everyone, I'm an Italian filmmaker. Born in Apulia, the heel of southern Italy, I moved to the SF Bay Area in 2011.
I have an M.A from the University of Bologna in “Art, Music and Performing Arts," with a specialization in cinema.
In 2007 I started to make wedding videos and have made about 200 wedding videos to date. I do the filming and editing with my own gear by myself.
I love telling real, genuine stories and there's nothing more exciting than telling the story of
your wedding. To do that I prefer a documentary style of shooting in my wedding videos. I try never to interfere with what is happening because I would like to be as invisible as possible so I can capture the spontaneity of what is occurring in front of the camera. I combine my training in art and news videography to capture hidden beauty in unexpected places.
I work from different angles and points of view to capture the magic of the main event as well as the wealth of excitement and emotion in the background.

About Packages
What is a Feature Film?
A Feature Film is a fully edited video of your wedding in 4K ultra HD with your favorite music. It is typically 30-50 minutes long and is synchronized with many different music tracks that alternating with dialogues, speeches and ambient sounds.
What is a Cinematic Highlights?
A Cinematic Highlights is a fully edited video of your wedding in 4K ultra HD with your favorite music. It is typically 4-6 minutes long and is synchronized with many different music tracks.
What is a raw footage?
Raw footage is the crude output of the video camera recording. It is the unprocessed data from the camera’s sensor. The raw footage is unedited, has no color correction and no cuts.
What does mean 8 hours of coverage filming?
8 hours of coverage filming means that the videographer is committed for 8 hours to capture the most meaningful moments of your wedding-event. So 8 hours of coverage will be summarized in about 2-3 hours of consecutive video. 8 hours of coverage never correspond to 8 hours of video shot.
Do the coverage hours have to be consecutive?
The coverage time is consecutive by default but this can be changed. You can make the hours nonconsecutive by adding break time to my schedule. Breaks are useful when there is some time during the wedding day that you don’t need or want video coverage. Because the break time rate is much lower than the overtime rate, you can save a lot of money by adding break time. This also has the added benefit of allowing you to split the coverage time. For example, I could shoot for 3 hours in the morning, take a 2 hour break, and shoot for 5 hours in the evening. This way, you are only charged for 2 hours of break and I can shoot a lot more of the wedding day without you incurring the cost of additional coverage time.
What if we need more than 10 hours of coverage?
You can extend the coverage time as much as you like, at any point in time, even on the wedding day. There are two ways to do this:
1. You can add additional hours of coverage at the Shooting Time rate, listed on the prices page.
2. You can also add hours of break time at the Break Time rate, also listed on the prices page.
Can we book now a package and upgrade it later to a different package?
Absolutely yes. You can book a specific package now and at any time in the future you can upgrade to another package. You would just pay the difference in package price.
About Booking
Are there any other costs or fee besides the package price?
There are potentially two things that would add to the cost of your videography package.
1. If you need additional time that will be added to the package price.
2. There is a small fee for all weddings that exceed 50 miles round trip from Pleasanton.
How do we book you for our wedding date?
Your wedding date is reserved upon receipt of the signed contract and the deposit.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20% of the total package price.
When is the balance due?
The balance is due on the day of the wedding. It is recommended (but not required) that you pay the balance off two weeks before the wedding so you don’t have to worry about distributing payments on the wedding day.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash or check are prefered. We also accept PayPal with an additional 3% fee.
How far will you travel to film a wedding?
We prefer stay within 1 hours driving time from Pleasanton, CA.
How many wedding do you book per day?
We never book more than one wedding per day.
Can we meet with you before we decide to hire you?
Absolutely! Please contact us to arrange a meeting.
Before the Wedding
What do you need from us in order to film the best video possible?
Before the wedding day, We will need a copy of your timeline so we can better schedule our work. We'll also ask you to reconfirm the name and address of each location that Emanuele need to travel to on the wedding day. It’s also helpful if you can fill Emanuele in on any surprises, performances, and other things that may not be listed on the timeline.
About the Wedding day
Who will actually film our wedding video?
Emanuele films every wedding.
What is your filming style?
We prefer a documentary style of shooting in our wedding videos. For that reason Emanuele tries never to interfere with what is happening. He tries to be as invisible as possible so he can capture the spontaneity of what is occurring in front of the camera. There could be some deviation from this style of shooting, for example if you request, he can ask your guests to say something for the video.
Is it possible to filming everyone at the wedding ceremony and reception?
It is impossible to guarantee that everyone will be filmed. As a general rule we focus mostly on the bride and groom. If you want to make sure that a specific person is filmed, you must contact us before the wedding.
What happens if you are unable to film our wedding because an unfortunate unexpected last minute?
This is a situation we hope to never encounter but of course the possibility is there. In this situation we would immediately reach out to our network of professional video colleagues. If none of them is available, we would start going through the highest rated videographers until we find someone.
How do you work with photographers?
To us, the relationship between videographer and photographer is one of collaboration, not competition. We’re both there to do a great job for our client.
Our reception venue will be very dimly lit. Can you film in that light?
With our gear we can see better in low light than the human eye. For those times when it’s nearly pitch black (e.g. outdoor reception after sunset with no lights overhead) we use a small on-camera LED light.
Do we need to feed you?
Yes, we do need fuel to perform so please plan a meal for Emanuele if one is being served to your guests. The timeline should designate a time for the videographer and photographers to eat and the caterer should be informed. This is typically not necessary if you’re having a buffet dinner.
About the Editing
What video format do you film?
We do shoot in 4k (3840x2106) at 23.976 fps. This gives us the most filmic and natural look for your video.
What is your editing style?
In our editing, we like to experiment with different genres, tones, styles, to discreetly capture the unique story of your unforgettable event in a reportage-style movie that you'll want to watch over and over again.
Can we choose the music for our wedding video?
Absolutely yes. We always recommend our clients to choose the music to be included in their wedding video. This means that the final edited video is more close and intimate to the newlyweds. In our videos we like to use different music. For that we suggest you to provide, as soon as possible, your favorite music tracks. 10-15 music tracks, all different in genre, style and period will be sufficient so we can select the most suitable for editing.
Can we make changes to the final wedding video?
Absolutely yes. There are two ways to get changes to the final edited video. One is free and the other is for a fee.
1. Mistakes in your video as misspellings or glitches as dropped frames, corrupted frames etc, will be corrected and removed for free, just let us know.
2. Post-delivery editing changes, that have not been agreed in advance, will be charged. Rates are listed on the prices page.
About Delivery
How long does it take to receive our wedding video?
We will deliver your films within a maximum of 6 weeks after receiving your music choices.
What is digital download?
Digital Download is a way of sending the video to you via the Internet. We email you a link and you just follow the instructions to start the download. The Digital Download gives you the full resolution HD video so you’re not sacrificing anything.
The video format we use is the widely compatible H.264 and the files are both Mac and Windows compatible.
The Digital Download also has these advantages over disc formats like Blu-ray and DVD:
1. If you have the hardware, software, and knowhow, you can burn your own Blu-rays and DVDs.
2. Anyone can potentially edit the video in the future without having to rip the compressed video off the discs.
3. If you want to make a backup copy of your video, simply copy the files onto another hard drive and store it at a different physical location.
How can we get the raw footage?
We email you a link and you just follow the instructions to start the download.
How long do you keep our footage after delivery?
Though we usually keep footage indefinitely, by contract, once the video has been delivered to you, it is your responsibility to create backups. We can’t guarantee a copy of your footage for an indefinite time.
